Job summary

Interactive Avenues is seeking a copywriter to translate client messages into compelling copy for digital campaigns, collaborating with the Copy and Art teams to deliver creative work.

The candidate should have 2–4 years of experience, exceptional writing and communication skills, and familiarity with MS Office and basic HTML. Knowledge of digital channels is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of copywriting experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; basic HTML knowledge; strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand client message and objective and translate them into copy.
• Ensure proper placement, context and meaning of every word in creative work.
• Develop short and long form copy, scripts, storyboards for AV and interface text.
• Explore online copy/content innovations to enhance marketing messages.
• Collaborate daily with Art-Copy team and senior copywriters to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate understanding of brands and their positioning; stay updated on advertising trends.
• Participate in brainstorms and contribute IA values to team morale.

Job description

The copywriter typically works in conjunction with their Copy and Art teammates, and together they provide creative execution on a client’s project. Copywriters possess excellent written and presentation skills. They work closely with the design team. They are expected to bring a fresh perspective to the table, especially with regards to social media formats, digital campaigns, and pop culture events (local and global).

Key Responsibility Area

Understanding the client’s message and objective and turning them into copy.

Responsible for the proper placement, context and meaning of every word as well as the overall message within a creative assignment.

The writing may range from development of short format/long format copy and content development, scripts and story board for audio visual communication and interface copy.

Constantly explores online creative/copy/content innovations and ground-breaking techniques that may enhance a client’s marketing message.

Works daily with the Art-Copy team and Sr. Copy writers to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met.

Have understanding of brands and its positioning.

Keep abreast of latest trends in advertising.

Participate in brainstorms.

Inculcates and promote IA values in every thought and action which will contribute to overall office morale, spirit, character and work quality.
