Job summary

Dow India is seeking a Senior Controller Coordinator to provide full-proficiency cost accounting and finance operations support across Inventory Management, P2P, Expense Recharging, Budget & Reporting. The role requires Inter CMA/Inter CA/MBA with 5+ years of costing experience and strong SAP/Excel skills.

You will coordinate with stakeholders, support controls, and drive process standardization while ensuring alignment with international time zones and relocation constraints.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in SAP, Excel and Dow reporting tools.
  • Experience in cost accounting and finance operations across multiple towers.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management – cycle counting, STO, variance analysis and reporting.
  • P2P – accruals, prepaid accounting, GR/IR, journal support and reconciliation.
  • Expense Recharging – distributions, invoicing and cost centre management.
  • Budget & Reporting – CCP, LGM, BOT, EST, and variance analysis.
  • Digital Solutions – update analytics dashboards and process documentation.
  • Represent the Capability center in cross-functional finance discussions.

As a Senior Controller Coordinator, you will provide full-proficiency cost accounting and finance operations support across assigned Capability towers such as Inventory Management, P2P, Expense Recharging, Budget & Reporting. The role is responsible for independently performing tower activities, reviewing outputs, explaining complex process information, coordinating with stakeholders, supporting controls, and driving work process consistency.

Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management – Independently perform cycle counting, STO, paper reconciliation, business assignment validation support, inventory reporting, and variance analysis; explain inventory information and support audit / GRC requirements.
  • P2P – Execute and review accruals, prepaid accounting, GIT duty accruals, GR/IR clearing, BlackLine reconciliations, PO tolerance analysis, and journal support using established procedures.
  • Expense Recharging – Perform assessments and distributions, service billing, CATS invoicing and compliance, cost centre management, non-manufacturing order support, and allocation / recharge activities.
  • Budget & Reporting – Prepare and validate CCP, LGM, BOT, PMO, EST, capability group, ICV, CATS compliance, cost centre variance, and planning / budget reports; explain drivers to stakeholders.
  • Digital Solutions – Maintain process documentation, support training delivery, update analytics dashboards, participate in process standardization, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent the Capability center on work process changes, improvement opportunities, automation initiatives, audit support, and cross-functional discussions with Finance and Cost Accounting teams.
Qualifications:
  • Inter CMA/Inter CA/MBA with 5+ years of costing and accounting experience B.com/M.com, or a relevant field and/or 5+ year’s of costing and accounting experience is required.
  • Strong skills in SAP, Excel and Dow reporting tools
Your Skills:
  • Full proficiency in assigned tower processes with ability to apply established procedures to standard and moderately complex issues
  • Strong technical skills in SAP, Excel, BlackLine, Dow reporting tools, MS Access, reconciliation tools, and reporting dashboards
  • Ability to analyze variances, identify root causes, explain complex process information, and support timely resolution
  • Strong stakeholder management, prioritization, escalation, documentation, and compliance orientation
  • Proactive team player with process improvement mindset, ability to manage multiple priorities, and fluency in English written and verbal communication

Relocation assistance is not available with this position. The ability to accommodate flexible schedule aligned with international time Zone is essential.
