Job summary

Dow India is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to design, develop, and support secure solution deployments across on-premise and cloud environments. You will work with business process and technical teams to deliver robust application objects, ensure alignment with Dow standards, and support ongoing improvements.

Strong scripting, Linux, and Azure expertise are required. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and timely delivery within a dynamic, safety-conscious culture.

Qualifications

About you and this role

Designs, develops, and supports solutions and processes to meet business needs and requirements. Works in a business process, enabling, or implementation team, and applies general knowledge of Information Systems, which is typically developed through formal education. In this role, you will require conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures as well as having general business knowledge developed through education or prior experience related to your discipline and functional area. You will need to have the ability to exchange straightforward information with others and ask questions to check for understanding. It is your responsibility to use established procedures and practice to analyze and resolve standard problems. You will be accountable for assigned contributions with no direct supervisory responsibilities. Your performance impacts your own work with limited impact on your team. You will need to use established procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes business requirements for assigned functional and technical areas
• Works closely with business process teams, technical teams and other stakeholders to design and build objects which meet requirements
• Documents detailed designs
• Builds, tests and implements application objects
• Assists with issue resolution
• Helps ensure that functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in IT discipline preferred and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills

On premise and cloud deployment/upgrade experience Good expertise within DevSecOps practices Hands-on experience with DevSecOps toolset is a plus Azure DevOps / GitHub AKS / Containers Strong working experience in a cloud environment (Azure) Visual Studio and Git CI/CD pipeline experience is a plus Automation and scripting skills like PowerShell, Azure CLI, and IaC templates Linux administration experience is a plus Software lifecycle management experience Good communication, troubleshooting, documentation, and time-management skills

Preferred Skills

Development skills – development lifecycle, tools, and patterns; prior development background is a plus Knowledge with C#, Python, & scripting Secure coding knowledge is a plus (vulnerability management) Networking skills / knowledge – firewall rules, etc. AI skills – building and using agents, MCP Continuous learning to stay on top of industry best practices and trends
