Job summary

Designit in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Content Designer to shape content across digital products and services for healthcare and life sciences engagements. You will translate complex concepts into clear, human-centred language and collaborate with product teams to improve usability and business outcomes.

You'll design conversational content for AI-enabled experiences, develop reusable patterns, and contribute to the design community through knowledge sharing and proposals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, conversation design, content strategy, or related disciplines.
• Experience designing content and microcopy for digital products and services, with a strong understanding of how content influences usability, adoption, and customer experience.
• Ability to design conversational experiences for AI-enabled products, such as assistants or chatbots.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation, prompt design, content optimisation, and conversational design tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and align cross-functional teams around user-centred solutions.
• Experience working collaboratively with product managers, designers, researchers, and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Strong systems thinking, with the ability to create reusable patterns, frameworks, and scalable content approaches across multiple products and services.
• Commercially aware, understanding how effective content contributes to business outcomes, product adoption, operational efficiency, and customer trust.

• Shape clear, intuitive, and accessible content across digital products, services, and user journeys, helping people understand, navigate, and complete tasks with confidence.
• Design conversational experiences for AI-powered products, defining prompts, responses, interaction patterns, and content structures that create useful, trustworthy experiences.
• Translate complex healthcare, business, and technical concepts into simple, human-centred language that reflects user needs and context.
• Partner closely with designers, researchers, engineers, and product teams to create seamless experiences where content and interaction design work together, identifying opportunities to improve usability, adoption, and business outcomes.
• Develop and evolve reusable content patterns, principles, and guidance that improve consistency across products, services, and channels.
• Use research insights, product feedback, and performance data to continuously improve content effectiveness and user outcomes.
• Understand the client context, business objectives, and user needs that frame each engagement, helping uncover new opportunities to expand the value Designit brings to client partnerships.
• Actively contribute to Designit's design community by sharing knowledge, elevating content design craft, supporting proposals and thought leadership activities, and helping grow a collaborative design culture.

We are looking for a talented and curious Senior Content Designer to join our Bengaluru studio. In this role, you will work focused on one of our key client engagements within the healthcare and life sciences sector - designing digital products, services, and experiences that are grounded in user insight and connected to measurable business outcomes.

As a Senior Content Designer, you will combine content craft, systems thinking, and strategic insight to help people understand, navigate, and trust complex experiences. You will collaborate with product designers, researchers, engineers, and business stakeholders to create content that supports user needs while driving adoption, engagement, and measurable business outcomes.

Operating at the intersection of communication and experience design, you will play a critical role in ensuring that user experience is effective at every touchpoint.
