Job description

Designit, Wipro's experience, innovation, and design business, works at the intersection of creativity, technology, and strategy to help ambitious organisations grow and transform.

We take a holistic view of how services work - connecting people, processes, and technology to create experiences that are not only meaningful for users, but operationally sound and commercially viable for the organisations behind them.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented and curious Senior Interaction Designer to join our Bengaluru studio. In this role, you will work focused on one of our key client engagements within the healthcare and life sciences sector - designing digital products, services, and experiences that are grounded in user insight and connected to measurable business outcomes.

As a Senior Interaction Designer you will lead the definition of the interactions that shape impactful, effective and memorable experiences. You combine strong craft with strategic thinking, translating business challenges into actionable, human-centred solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

Operating at the intersection of customer, business, and technology, you shape experience strategies, lead project delivery, and play a critical role in ensuring adoption and value realisation - making Designit a differentiator in transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shape how people move through and feel products. You'll define the interaction patterns, gestures, states, feedback, navigation, that make experiences feel intuitive and true to platform. Then you'll turn that thinking into reusable, well-documented components that scale across different scenarios of use. You'll facilitate the connection of design and engineering, delivering the tokens, motion specs, and handoff assets that keep implementation fast and faithful.
  • Champion design system consistency by converting recurring interaction challenges into reusable, system-level patterns.
  • Translate business problems into experience-led solutions, connecting user needs, commercial objectives, and technology feasibility.
  • Own project deliverables - setting direction, defining outcomes, and ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery with clear rationale.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, technology, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration from concept to implementation.
  • Identify and shape new opportunities within client engagements, contributing to proposals, upsell, and expansion of Designit’s role.
  • Understand the client context, business objectives, and user needs that frame each engagement, and help identify new opportunities within existing client relationships by thinking beyond the current scope of work.
  • Actively contribute to Designit's design community and Bangalore studio culture - sharing inspiration, raising topics, supporting proposals and case studies, and participating in wellbeing and culture initiatives.
Required Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in experience design, UX/UI design, or interaction design.
  • Strong experience design craft across research synthesis, journey mapping, service design, and interaction design
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, influencing senior audiences and aligning cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently, manage ambiguity, and drive progress in complex environments
  • Commercially aware - you understand that great design must connect to business value and client outcomes, and you can estimate and plan your own work effectively.
Ways of Working
  • A systems thinker - able to see the big picture while managing the details that make services work
  • Collaborative and generous - working across disciplines and helping teams build shared understanding
  • Comfortable with ambiguity - bringing structure and direction to complex, open-ended challenges
  • Proactive and accountable - taking ownership of quality and driving work forward with pace and purpose
  • Curious about emerging practices - including designing for AI-enabled services, evolving accessibility standards, and new ways of measuring service performance
What We Offer
  • The opportunity to shape services for one of the world’s leading healthcare and life sciences businesses globally from our Bengaluru studio
  • A role within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team across our APMEA & Europe regions
  • Meaningful responsibility and the chance to influence both client outcomes and Designit's design practice
  • Exposure to a range of sectors and project types
  • A culture that values creativity, curiosity, and real-world impact
