Job summary

Inizio Ignite is establishing an India Design Studio in Gurugram to turn complex content into persuasive client stories and proposals. You will enhance clarity, structure and visual impact of materials while building independent design judgment to progress in the team.

We seek a designer with 2–4 years' experience who can deliver polished, client-ready slides within templates and collaborate with global teams across Research Partnership and other units.

Qualifications

• Around 2–4 years of experience in presentation design or similar.
• Portfolio shows strong slide layout, hierarchy and branding.
• Strong PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Adobe CC, Figma or Think-cell is useful.
• Good typography, templates and design systems knowledge.
• Clear communication and attention to detail when briefs are incomplete.

Responsibilities

• Design and redesign slides, proposals, RFPs, credentials and case studies to improve clarity and readability.
• Apply Inizio Ignite brand standards, templates and visual systems consistently.
• Translate briefs into polished visual outputs; flag gaps early.
• Adapt materials for different audiences, clients, geographies and pursuits.
• Create reusable slides, diagrams, icons and data visuals.
• Collaborate with the design team and Senior Designer on complex storytelling.
• Own quality of work; complete self-check and QA reviews.
• Maintain clean, editable, accessible, version-controlled files for handover.
• Use AI tools responsibly to support understanding and efficiency with design judgement.

About the India Design Studio

We are establishing an India Design Studio in Gurugram to support Inizio Ignite's global teams. The studio will operate as a central design hub, working with business-unit spokes across Research Partnership, Putnam, Vynamic, STEM and Innovation & Growth.

The Design Studio will turn complex strategic, scientific and commercial content into clear, persuasive client stories. It will support high-value business development and client-facing work, including proposals, RFP responses, pitch decks, credentials, case studies, thought leadership and other priority materials.

Our goal is to improve the quality, speed and consistency of these materials; strengthen how Ignite presents its connected expertise; and build reusable design assets and ways of working that support client delivery and growth.

How quality works in the studio

Quality is shared. Everyone who creates or edits work is accountable for the accuracy and quality of their contribution. Designers complete a structured self-check before handover. The Production & QA Assistant provides independent, checklist-based review and delivery control. The Senior Designer provides creative oversight and final design sign-off for priority or high-risk work. Business stakeholders remain accountable for factual content, client requirements and final business approval.

How we use AI

Approved AI and automation tools may be used to support brief understanding, content structuring, asset discovery, layout exploration, tagging and quality checks. They are enabling tools rather than substitutes for design craft. Human judgement, confidentiality, accessibility, brand integrity and final accountability always come first.

Your primary role

Designer - India Design Studio

This role is a developing presentation designer who delivers high-quality, client-facing work within agreed standards and timelines. You will improve the clarity, structure and visual impact of proposals, RFP responses, pitch decks and related materials, while building the judgement and independence required to progress in the team.

What you will do

• Design and redesign slides, proposal sections, RFP materials, credentials and case studies to improve clarity, visual hierarchy, structure and readability.
• Apply Inizio Ignite brand standards, PowerPoint templates, visual systems and document standards consistently.
• Translate clear briefs and developed content into polished visual outputs, escalating gaps or ambiguity early.
• Adapt existing materials for different audiences, clients, geographies and pursuit contexts.
• Create reusable slides, diagrams, icons and data visuals.
• Work with the design team and the Senior Designer on more complex visual storytelling and priority pursuits.
• Own the quality of your work, complete the studio self-check and resolve issues identified through design review or independent QA.
• Maintain clean, editable, accessible, well-named and version-controlled files that are ready for handover and reuse.
• Use approved AI tools responsibly where they improve understanding, exploration or efficiency, while applying independent design judgement to every output.
• Contribute to asset tagging, template improvement, knowledge capture and shared ways of working.

About you

Your skills and experience

• Around 2-4 years of experience in presentation design, graphic design, visual design or a similar role, ideally supporting proposals, pitches, RFPs or other client-facing materials.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong layout, visual hierarchy, slide design, brand application and the ability to make complex content easier to understand.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma or comparable design tools; Think-cell or other charting experience would be useful.
• Good understanding of typography, templates, design systems, iconography, data visualisation and document polish.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to ask focused questions when briefs, priorities or source content are incomplete.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage several workstreams within agreed service levels.
• Practical AI literacy and the judgement to review, refine or reject AI-assisted suggestions before use.
• Experience with healthcare, life sciences, consulting or professional-services content would be advantageous.

This is a full-time role and is expected to follow a hybrid working pattern, based at our Inizio location in Gurugram. The role will support global teams across time zones, so flexibility to work within agreed UK- and US-aligned collaboration windows may be required.
