Job summary

Zoho in Navi Mumbai seeks an experienced urologist to provide expert consultation and manage all patients with urological disorders. You will diagnose, treat, and help prevent benign and malignant conditions of the genitourinary system, and work in a multidisciplinary team.

You will supervise OT staff, participate in teaching, ensure NABH protocol compliance, review patient histories, and assist in emergency department resuscitation and pre/postoperative care.

Qualifications

• Familiar with NABH standards, protocols and documentation process.
• Willing to work in a multi disciplinary team.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff, residents and other staff in patient care.

Responsibilities

• To provide expert consultation and manage all patients related to Urological disorders.
• Diagnose, treat, and help prevent benign and malignant medical and surgical disorders of the urogenital system.
• Should be willing to work in a multi disciplinary team.
• Understand responsibility pertaining to hospital codes.
• Must be familiar with NABH standards, protocols and documentation process.
• Examine patients using equipment, such as radiograph machines and fluoroscopes, to determine the nature and extent of disorder or injury.
• Treat urologic disorders using alternatives to traditional surgery.
• Direct the work of nurses, residents, or other staff to provide patient care and be a partner in their ongoing training.
• Provide urology consultation to physicians or other health care professionals.
• Document or review patients' histories.
• Diagnose or treat diseases or disorder of genitourinary organs and tracts including erectile dysfunction.
• Observing and monitoring patients during surgery.
• Resuscitating and stabilizing patients in the emergency department.
• To be available for emergency calls of the OT and the Emergency Department.
• To facilitate teaching and training programs of OT Nurses, Technicians & Resident Doctors.
• To be well groomed, punctual and adhere to company policies and practices, familiar with NABH protocols.
• To comply with patient safety policy
• To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system
• To be involved in quality Assurance / Quality control activities.
