Job summary

Zoho in Mumbai is seeking a dedicated urology healthcare professional to provide expert consultation and comprehensive patient care for urological disorders. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and preventing conditions of the genitourinary system within a multidisciplinary team.

The candidate will work with imaging tools, participate in surgical and emergency care, and contribute to NABH-compliant documentation and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation for urological disorders and manage patient care.
• Diagnose, treat, and help prevent benign and malignant disorders of the genitourinary system.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with other staff.
• Adhere to hospital codes and patient safety policies.
• Familiar with NABH standards, protocols, and documentation processes.
• Examine patients using radiography and fluoroscopy equipment to assess conditions.
• Treat urologic disorders with appropriate non-surgical and surgical approaches.
• Supervise nurses, residents, and staff; participate in training.
• Provide urology consultation to physicians and clinicians.
• Document patient histories and medical records.
• Diagnose or treat diseases of genitourinary organs and tract, including erectile dysfunction.
• Monitor and support patients during surgical procedures and emergencies.
• Be available for OT and Emergency Department calls.
• Assist in teaching and training programs for OT staff and residents.
• Maintain grooming, punctuality, and adherence to policies; comply with NABH protocols.
• Ensure safe equipment use and proper waste disposal.
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Handle additional duties as required by workload and emergencies.
• Participate actively in Continuous Quality Improvement.

Job description

• 1. To provide expert consultation and manage all patients related to Urological disorders.
• 2. Diagnose, treat, and help prevent benign and malignant medical and surgical disorders of the urogenital system.
• 3. Should be willing to work in a multi disciplinary team.
• 4. Understand responsibility pertaining to hospital codes.
• 5. Must be familiar with NABH standards, protocols and documentation process.
• 6. Examine patients using equipment, such as radiograph (x-ray) machines and fluoroscopes, to determine the nature and extent of disorder or injury.
• 7. Treat urologic disorders using alternatives to traditional surgery.
• 8. Direct the work of nurses, residents, or other staff to provide patient care and be a partner in their ongoing training.
• 9. Provide urology consultation to physicians or other health care professionals.
• 10. Document or review patients' histories.
• 11. Diagnose or treat diseases or disorder of genitourinary organs and tracts including erectile dysfunction.
• 12. Observing and monitoring patients during surgery.
• 13. Resuscitating and stabilizing patients in the emergency department
• 14. To be available for emergency calls of the O.T. & the Emergency Department.
• 15. To facilitate teaching and training programs of O.T. Nurses, Technicians & Resident Doctors.
• 16. To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices, familiar with NABH protocols.
• 17. To comply with patient safety policy
• 18. To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system
• 19. To be involved in quality Assurance / Quality control activities.
• 20. To perform all the jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
