Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a Senior Consultant in the S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team to drive end‑to‑end SAP ABAP development with a strong focus on SAP CRM WebUI, BOL/GENIL, and modern S/4HANA technologies.

The role partners with functional experts, solution architects, and product owners to translate business needs into robust, high‑performance applications using ABAP OO, CDS views, and advanced SAP frameworks.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of hands-on ABAP development experience with 3–5+ years in SAP CRM WebUI/BOL/GENIL.
• Strong ABAP OO skills and CDS view development for S/4HANA.
• Experience with integration tech like PI/PO, CPI, or OData/REST.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable ABAP designs using ABAP OO and CDS views.
• Design object-oriented architectures with factory patterns for modularity.
• Develop CDS views, ALV reports, and APIs with proper authorization.
• Enhance CRM WebUI components, context nodes, and UI configurations.
• Extend BOL/GENIL logic, including modeling and buffering.
• Integrate S/4HANA ABAP CRM with external systems via PI/PO, AIF, and REST.
• Apply BOPF concepts for BO models and validations.
• Conduct testing and performance tuning; enforce coding standards.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with stakeholders.

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a Senior Consultant in the S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team to drive end‑to‑end SAP ABAP development with a strong focus on SAP CRM WebUI, BOL/GENIL, and modern S/4HANA technologies. The role partners with functional experts, solution architects, and product owners to translate business needs into robust, high‑performance applications using ABAP OO, CDS views, and advanced SAP frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs using ABAP OO, CDS views, and CRM BOL/GENIL frameworks.


• Design and implement object‑oriented architectures employing creational patterns (factory, abstract factory) for modularity and testability.


• Develop high‑performance CDS views, classical and ALV reports, enhancements, function modules, and APIs with proper authorization and optimization.


• Implement and enhance CRM WebUI components, context nodes, and UI configurations ensuring UX consistency and performance.


• Extend business object logic via BOL/GENIL, including modeling, query objects, dynamic queries, and buffering.


• Integrate S/4HANA ABAP CRM with external systems using PI/PO proxies, AIF, and OData/REST services.


• Apply BOPF concepts where applicable, building BO models, nodes, determinations, validations, and actions.


• Enforce coding standards, conduct peer reviews, and create unit/integration tests (ABAP Unit) for maintainable, secure code.


• Perform performance tuning and memory optimization using SQL trace, SAT, SQL monitor, and runtime analysis tools.


• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders, estimate effort, break down deliverables, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of hands‑on ABAP development experience, with 3–5+ years focused on SAP CRM WebUI/BOL/GENIL.


• Strong expertise in ABAP OO, modern ABAP for S/4HANA, and CDS view development.


• Proven experience designing and delivering scalable SAP solutions in medium‑to‑large programs.


• Deep knowledge of SAP CRM architecture, WebUI enhancements, and BOL/GENIL framework.


• Familiarity with BOPF framework and its application in S/4HANA contexts (preferred).


• Experience with integration technologies such as PI/PO, CPI, SAP Event Mesh, or side‑by‑side extensibility on BTP.


• Solid understanding of OData/REST services, web services, and API exposure.


• Hands‑on experience with performance analysis tools (ST05, SAT, SQLM) and ABAP Unit testing.


• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.


• Proactive ownership, mentorship mindset, and collaborative working style across cross‑functional teams.
