Job summary

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Specialist in SAP ABAP to join our S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team. The role focuses on end‑to‑end ABAP development, performance tuning, and seamless integration with external systems.

You will collaborate with functional consultants, review code, mentor junior developers, and ensure best‑practice standards across SAP projects. Excellent debugging and stakeholder‑management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, preferably in S/4HANA.
• Expertise in ABAP OO, ALV, BAPI, BADI, and enhancement framework.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies (IDoc, RFC, OData, SOAP, PI/PO).
• Proven track record in performance tuning and SQL trace analysis.
• Proficiency in debugging complex ABAP code and troubleshooting runtime issues.
• Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP Gateway, and basic SAP Fiori concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and DevOps practices within SAP projects.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; SAP certification is a plus.
