Job summary

PharmaACE is seeking a Senior Consultant / Project Manager in Pune to lead forecasting engagements across pipeline and access workstreams. You will manage client relationships, guide project execution, and deliver data-driven insights from client data and secondary research.

Ideal candidates bring 3–8 years in forecasting and analytics, with strong Excel skills, and experience with IQVIA/Symphony datasets. You will mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with global teams in a dynamic life

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Pharma, Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in forecasting, commercial analytics, or pharmaceutical consulting.
  • Strong experience in forecasting and financial modelling using Excel and analytical tools.
  • Good understanding of market research, competitive intelligence, and commercial analytics.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in US or European pharma markets is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of forecasting engagements across pipeline, in-line, LOE, specialty TA, and access-integrated workstreams; manage scope, timelines, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Frame forecasting methodology with client stakeholders; align on modeling choices, evidence rules, and scenario architecture; secure sign-offs on assumptions and outputs.
  • Lead forecast review meetings and cross-functional working sessions with client commercial, access, medical affairs, and finance teams.
  • Review forecast models for defensibility and audit readiness; stress-test scenario logic; challenge weak assumptions before client delivery.
  • Serve as the primary senior client relationship owner; manage expectations proactively and position PharmaACE as a trusted forecasting partner.
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Analysts; assign workstreams, set delivery standards, and conduct structured performance reviews.
  • Mentor team members on forecasting methodology, client engagement skills, executive communication, and career development; identify and invest in high-potential talent.

Opportunity Overview

The Senior Consultant / Project Manager willwork closely with clients across forecasting, market research, market access,and other cross-functional projects within the pharmaceutical and healthcaredomain. The role involves managing client relationships, leading project execution,and presenting insights and recommendations to client stakeholders. The candidate will leverage strong quantitativeand qualitative analytical skills to analyze complex datasets, developstrategic approaches, and deliver data-driven business insights through acombination of client-provided data and secondary research. Experience withIQVIA or Symphony datasets (e.g., Xponent, DDD) is required, while workingknowledge of patient-level data will be an added advantage.

Core Roles and Responsibilities
