Role Overview

As a Associate Manager, you will design and deliver robust forecasting models that inform strategic and financial decision-making in the bio-pharmaceutical sector. Leveraging your 6–8 years of industry experience, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding project teams, providing thought leadership, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet complex client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate patient-based and volume-based forecast models, integrating secondary data (e.g., IQVIA, claims, EMR) and primary research insights
• Conduct scenario analyses (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations) to capture market uncertainty and outline strategic options for clients
• Stay updated on multiple therapeutic areas, including Oncology and CNS, to provide expert insights on market sizing, sales projections, and patient flow analytics
• Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives, present forecast assumptions, and propose data-driven solutions
• Lead and mentor junior analysts, reviewing models and deliverables for accuracy and clarity
• Translate large datasets into actionable insights using advanced Excel (including VBA) and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Produce compelling presentations and reports that clearly communicate methodology, assumptions, and recommendations
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, global environment

Requirements

• 6–8 years in pharmaceutical forecasting or commercial analytics, ideally in a consulting or bio-pharma environment
• Advanced Excel skills (including VBA) and experience with relevant secondary data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony)
• Strong understanding of drug development, regulatory dynamics, and commercial strategies
• Proven ability to synthesize complex data points into clear, strategic recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of client-facing engagements
• Experience guiding or mentoring analysts and delivering results under tight timelines
• Comfort working in cross-functional, global teams and adapting to changing priorities
