Job summary

TechOrbit Solutions Private Limited seeks an experienced OpenText ECM specialist to lead end-to-end implementations, including integration with SAP, upgrades and governance. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will configure Content Server, xECM for SAP, manage security frameworks, and mentor junior consultants while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, scalable ECM solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ECM/xECM implementations, including requirements, design, architecture workshops, configuration, testing, deployment and hypercare.
• Configure and administer OpenText Content Server, xECM for SAP, Business Workspaces, Categories, Metadata Models, Records Management and security.
• Design and implement integrations between OpenText xECM and SAP ECC/S/4HANA for document management and object synchronization.
• Execute platform upgrades, patching, content migrations, and repository consolidation aligning with compliance.
• Configure and support document lifecycle, retention schedules, disposition policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage user roles, permissions, security models, and authentication (LDAP, SSO, OTDS).
• Troubleshoot L2/L3 incidents related to Content Server, xECM, workflows, integrations, performance and security.
• Collaborate with SAP Functional, Basis, Infrastructure, Security and Business teams to deliver ECMS solutions and support transformation.
• Prepare architecture documents, functional/technical specs, migration strategies, test scripts, user guides and transfer knowledge to juniors.

• 8+ years of experience in OpenText ECM, Extended ECM (xECM), Content Server, Archive Center/Core Archive, including implementation, upgrade, migration, and application support projects.
• Lead end-to-end ECM/xECM implementations, including business requirement gathering, solution design, architecture workshops, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
• Configure and administer OpenText Content Server, xECM for SAP, Business Workspaces, Categories, Metadata Models, Records Management, and Security Frameworks.
• Design and implement integrations between OpenText xECM and SAP ECC/S/4HANA, enabling seamless document management, attachment handling, and business object synchronization.
• Execute OpenText platform upgrades, patching activities, content migration projects, repository consolidation, and modernization initiatives to align with business and compliance requirements.
• Configure and support document lifecycle management, retention schedules, disposition policies, records management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Manage user roles, permissions, security models, authentication mechanisms (LDAP, SSO, OTDS), and ensure adherence to enterprise governance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve L2/L3 incidents related to Content Server, xECM, workflows, integrations, performance issues, indexing, document retrieval, and security-related concerns.
• Collaborate with SAP Functional, Basis, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams to deliver integrated enterprise content management solutions and support business transformation programs.
• Prepare solution architecture documents, functional and technical specifications, migration strategies, test scripts, user guides, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions while mentoring junior consultants.
