Job summary

EY seeks a TechOps SAP OpenText Senior to support, administer, and optimize OpenText solutions across the enterprise. The role focuses on document management, content services, archiving, workflow automation and integration with SAP applications.

Responsibilities include leading crowdsourced task execution, allocating resources, and overseeing team performance to meet organizational goals while ensuring compliance and security across the platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering.
• 8–10+ years in SAP OpenText implementations and support.
• OpenText expertise: xECM, Content Server, Archive Centre; SAP ECC, S/4HANA, DMS, VIM.
• Preferred – OpenText and SAP certifications.

Responsibilities

• OpenText Solution Administration: Administer OpenText Content Server, Archive Centre, and Extended ECM (xECM). Implement lifecycle, retention, and security policies.
• SAP Integration & Document Management: Integrate OpenText with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, CRM, SRM, and SuccessFactors with proper workspaces and attachments.
• Enhancements & Development: Develop workflows, Live Reports, Web Reports, and automation; create REST API integrations.
• Migration & Upgrade Activities: Lead content migration from legacy repositories; support upgrades and modernization.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure retention, audit, and regulatory/governance controls; maintain SOPs and knowledge articles.

Education

The Opportunity

The TechOps SAP OpenText Senior is responsible for supporting, administering, enhancing, and optimizing SAP OpenText solutions across the enterprise. The role focuses on document management, content services, archiving, workflow automation, production support, and integration with SAP business applications such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, CRM, SRM, andSuccessFactors.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.

Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

• OpenText Solution Administration
  • Administer OpenText Content Server, Archive Centre, and Extended ECM (xECM). Manage repositories, workspaces, metadata, permissions, and retention policies. Configure document lifecycle management and records management capabilities. Manage user access and security controls.
• SAP Integration & Document Management
  • Integrate OpenText solutions with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, SAP SRM, and SuccessFactors.
  • Configure Business Workspaces, DMS integrations, storage categories, and attachments. Ensure seamless document retrieval and content accessibility within SAP transactions.
  • Support SAP archiving and document repository strategies.
• Enhancements & Development
  • Develop and maintain workflows, Live Reports, Web Reports, and automation solutions. Implement custom integrations using REST APIs, Web Services, and OpenText APIs.
  • Support migration and upgrade initiatives.
  • Optimize performance and improve operational efficiency.
• Migration & Upgrade Activities
  • Lead content migration from legacy repositories to OpenText platforms. Support OpenText version upgrades and platform modernization.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance during migration activities.
• Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure document retention, audit, and compliance requirements are met. Support regulatory and internal governance controls.
  • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline 8-10+ years in SAP OpenText implementations and support
• OpenText Expertise - xECM, Content Server, Archive centre SAP Expertise - ECC, S/4HANA, DMS, VIM
• Preferred - OpenText and SAP certifications
