Job summary

MainframeEviden (Atos) is seeking a Senior Consultant with 10+ years of experience in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM and IMS DB/DC for on-site roles in Mumbai, Bangalore, or Chennai. The role involves hands-on batch and online work, potential Raincode/microfocus migration projects, and SDLC/Agile practices.

Strong communication and independent working ability are required. Exposure to Raincode platform and related tooling will be an advantage, along with telecom domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in Core Mainframe Skills – COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, IMS DB/DC, CICS.
• Mainframe experience with hands-on knowledge in Batch as well as online is Must.
• Nice to have IMS DB/DC, Easytrieve, Assembler and Datacom.
• REXX and CLIST knowledge will be added advantage.
• Experience in mainframe re-hosting/migration projects to Raincode/microfocus platform.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience in Raincode platform to make code changes, compile, debug and unit-test batch and online.
• Should be able to perform impact analysis and understand technical design.
• Experience on Enhancement projects and knowledge of SDLC processes.
• Agile methodologies awareness. Telecom domain knowledge is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Work on Senior Mainframe consulting assignments.
• Lead activities related to mainframe re-hosting/migration projects to Raincode/microfocus platforms.
• Perform impact analysis and understand technical designs.
• Conduct SIT/UAT defect analysis and fix issues as needed.
