Position : Mainframe Developer/Cobol Developer

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 Days (Not more than)

Direct Responsibilities:

• The role is for a Senior Software Engineer with experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs who works equally well as an individual or as part of a team.
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years Application Development and Maintenance & support experience. The candidate must have past experience of working as a part of large Development / Support team.
• The role will also involve all aspects of the Application development, M&E activities and to provide L3 support ticket resolutions. The candidate should have an understanding of full software life cycle (SDLC) as well as Agile Methodology.
• Previous experience within the investment-banking sector is not essential but will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Strong handson experience with COBOL, UNIX and SQL.
• Good Knowledge & Understanding of Oracle DB, PL-SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative team.
• Flair for learning new tools & technology
• Knowledge of AUTOSYS, JIRA and ServiceNow will be an added advantage
• Unit testing, integration testing, and testdriven development (TDD)
• Good to have of Unix Server environment & platforms
