Hiring: Mainframe CICS Administrator / Developer

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe CICS Professional with strong experience in IBM Mainframe technologies to support and enhance critical enterprise applications.

Location: Chennai

Experience: 6-8 Years

Compensation: 55,000-75,000 per month

Key Requirements

5-10 years of hands‑on experience with IBM Mainframe technologies, including CICS, COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.

Strong Expertise In

• CICS Online Programming (BMS Maps, Pseudo-Conversational Design, COMMAREA, Channels & Containers)
• COBOL‑DB2 Development with Embedded SQL Cursor Processing, SQL Error Handling (SQLCODE, SQLSTATE), and Unit Testing
• JCL Development, Utilities, Restart/Recovery Processes, and Batch Job Management

Experience With

• Performance Tuning and Optimization of CICS and DB2 applications; DB2 Access Paths, Indexing, EXPLAIN, RUNSTATS, and Buffer Pool Concepts
• VSAM File Management and I/O Performance Analysis
• Debugging tools such as Abend-AID and CEEDUMP
• Source Code Management using Endevor and/or Git
• Scheduling tools including Control‑M or CA7

Preferred Skills

• IBM MQ REST/JSON Integration through CICS Web Services
• Agile Development Methodologies
• CI/CD Practices for Mainframe Applications
