About the role:

Designing, delivering, and orchestrating state-of-the‑art leadership solutions is at the heart of this Senior Consultant position. This role carries end‑to‑end ownership of complex, multi‑layered learning journeys and senior‑level client relationships, while offering a fast‑paced, flexible, intense and highly collaborative environment to deepen consulting expertise across leadership levels and capabilities. The position emphasizes strategic integration of assessment and development methodologies to solve a wide array of market and customer challenges and requires comfort working across global time zones and geographies.

Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Technical Skills:

• Research client business, industry, competitors, services, offerings, market position etc. and develop a deep, strategic understanding of client business & context
• Leverage strong business acumen and analysis skills to shape solution design and drive implementation aligned to client business context
• Independently design and own end‑to‑end assessment and development solutions for client delivery
• Apply instructional design principles to independently create and quality‑check pre & post reads, assessments, design decks, participant playbooks/workbooks and other course material required during project delivery
• Review educator content and provide senior‑level insights, feedback and direction for improvisation
• Own the creation of support documents, assessments and engagement tools for LITE courses/programs and OEPs, including complex or non‑standard requirements
• Lead specific client/project requests like competency course mapping etc. for LITE, OEP and other Emeritus offerings
• Bring strong AI savviness — actively leverage AI tools to enhance content design, research, and delivery efficiency, and guide teams on responsible, effective use of AI in the solutioning process

Client Management & Delivery:

• Independently manage complex, multiple, multi‑layered learning journeys from solutioning through delivery and closure
• Own client calls, pre‑program diagnostics, and senior‑level stakeholder conversations; ensure findings and summaries are documented and shared with relevant stakeholders
• Handle escalations and lead difficult conversations with client stakeholders, resolving issues with sound judgment and composure
• Actively lead pre‑sales conversations from a solutions lens with key clients, shaping proposals and scoping engagements
• Work across time zones with global clients across India, APAC and Europe geos, adapting to varied cultural and business contexts
• Respond to client and stakeholder requests, scheduling meetings etc. in a timely manner

Account Management & Expansion:

• Own and grow strategic client accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
• Partner with Account Directors to design, pitch, and defend impactful learning solutions during pre‑sales engagements.
• Drive account growth through cross‑selling, upselling, and expansion opportunities.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants and delivery teams, supporting their development and quality of output
• Provide direction and oversight on projects being supported by junior consultants, ensuring consistency and rigor in solutioning

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience is a must, and relevant certifications in assessments, coaching, and L&D are highly desirable
• Advanced degree related to the field of human resources (e.g., I/O psychology, organization development, human resources) and 8+ years of relevant consulting experience preferred
• Strong understanding & hands‑on experience of learning & development/leadership development frameworks, learning methodologies, etc.
• Proven experience in assessments and integrating assessments into a development solution
• Strong understanding of instructional design & adult learning principles, with the ability to independently design and review learning content
• Working experience of advanced MS Excel and ability to perform data analytics preferred
• Strong exposure to and hands‑on experience with various AI tools used in learning & development, with the ability to guide others on their application
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior client stakeholders, navigate escalations, and operate independently in a fast‑paced, flexible, and highly collaborative work
