Job summary

Industrial and Financial Systems in Kolkata, India seeks a senior Microsoft 365 specialist to lead design, deployment, and governance of the Microsoft 365 platform. You will implement compliance, DLP, information protection, and policy controls across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Purview, ensuring secure, compliant collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology; 7+ years hands-on experience in related fields.
• Strong expertise in the Microsoft 365 collaboration suite.
• Strong troubleshooting and service optimization skills with interest in cloud computing and cybersecurity.
• Proficient in PowerShell and able to integrate with Azure AD, handle bulk updates across Office 365 services, manage Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams configurations, and automate administrative tasks.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience administering Purview, Viva, Copilot, and the Power Platform.
• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks preferred.
• Microsoft certifications related to above areas.
• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

• Manage Microsoft 365 compliance solutions including data retention policies, labeling, and DLP for SharePoint, Exchange, and Teams.
• Oversee configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance.
• Lead onboarding and secure integration of third‑party AI tools with Microsoft 365.
• Monitor service health, usage, and performance across the M365 ecosystem.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate compliance solutions with existing systems and workflows.
• Benchmark, analyze, report on, and recommend improvements for Office 365 suite and other systems.
• Stay updated on tech trends and mentor junior team members.
