Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Textile Chemistry or related field.
• 2–6 years in analytical testing laboratories.
• Hands-on with LC/MS or LC-MS/MS instrumentation.
• Experience in Textile/Chemical testing or consumer product testing preferred.
• Knowledge of chemical regulations affecting textiles and apparel.
• Good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of textile, garment, and related samples using LC/MS and LC-MS/MS.
• Conduct sample preparation, extraction, and chemical analysis for restricted substances and contaminants.
• Execute testing per international standards (REACH, ZDHC, CPSIA, OEKO-TEX, RSL, MRSL).
• Ensure accurate recording, calculation, and reporting of test results.
• Perform routine instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Review analytical data and verify compliance with quality procedures.
• Maintain laboratory documentation per ISO 17025 requirements.
• Participate in proficiency testing and quality control activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of textile, garment, and related samples using LC/MS and LC-MS/MS instruments.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Textile Testing, Chemical Testing, RSL/MRSL testing, or consumer product testing preferred.


• Knowledge of chemical regulations affecting textiles and apparel.


• Good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of chromatography and mass spectrometry principles.


• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).


• Knowledge of international textile compliance programs.
