Job summary

eNtrust Software & Services is seeking a Senior Category Analyst to own strategic sourcing, category management, and vendor governance across indirect IT categories such as software, hardware, cloud, telecom, and networking. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to partner with diverse stakeholders in Chennai, India.

You will lead sourcing events, negotiate terms, and drive supplier performance through dashboards and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, indirect procurement and category management.
• Experience in technology procurement across software, SaaS, software licensing, hardware, cloud services, telecom and IT services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing (RFI/RFQ/RFP), supplier evaluation and award recommendations
• Develop sourcing strategies balancing cost, quality, risk and lead negotiations
• Manage contract and renewal calendars; coordinate renewals with Legal, Finance and IT
• Develop category strategies and roadmaps; analyze spend and supplier performance
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, scorecards, QBRs and action plans
• Governance and compliance reporting, supplier risk and due diligence support
• Maintain sourcing pipeline reporting, dashboards, KPI and executive reporting
• Partner across Procurement, IT, Legal, Finance and Marketing stakeholders

About the Role

eNtrust Software & Services is looking for a Senior Category Analyst to join our Indirect Procurement team. You will own strategic sourcing, category management, vendor management, contract support, governance and reporting across indirect spend, primarily IT categories such as software, hardware, cloud, telecom and networking. Strong analytical skills and the ability to partner with diverse stakeholders are a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing (RFI/RFQ/RFP), supplier evaluation and award recommendations
• Develop sourcing strategies balancing cost, quality, risk and lead negotiations
• Manage contract and renewal calendars; coordinate renewals with Legal, Finance and IT
• Develop category strategies and roadmaps; analyze spend and supplier performance
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, scorecards, QBRs and action plans

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, indirect procurement and category management, including technology procurement across software, SaaS, software licensing, hardware, cloud services, telecommunications, networking equipment and IT services
• Hands-on experience managing competitive sourcing events, supplier evaluations, negotiations and commercial discussions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferably Power BI
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and multitask
