Job summary

Sterlite Technologies (STL) is seeking a procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing for Central Services and Indirect categories across multiple locations. You will lead RFQ/RFP processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliant supplier selection and term finalization.

The role requires BE/B.Tech, 4–5 years in indirect procurement, and strong skills in SAP MM and MS Office. Expect cross-functional collaboration and KPI-driven performance monitoring.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement of Central Services / Indirect categories, including FM, Admin, IT, Maintenance, Travel and other support services.
• Drive RFQ/RFP, techno-commercial evaluation, negotiation, supplier selection and contract finalization, ensuring competitive pricing and commercial compliance.
• Manage PR-to-PO conversion, ensuring timely PO release, adherence to procurement timelines, approval matrix and company policies.
• Drive internal price approval / price justification through market benchmarking, cost analysis, negotiation outcomes and comparative statements.
• Drive vendor consolidation, service standardization and strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple locations to achieve cost optimization.
• Establish and monitor SLA/KPI, supplier performance, service quality and contract compliance, including periodic supplier performance reviews and corrective actions.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/B.tech With 4-5 years experience in Indirect & Service procurement/ Strategic Sourcing
• Good Knowledge of commercial negotiation, cost analysis, Contracts and supplier management.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in SAP MM, Microsoft office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
