Job summary

Terracle Private Ltd is seeking a Senior Land Survey CAD Technician to lead CAD drafting for land survey projects in the USA and UK. You will rely on AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce precise ALTA/NSPS and boundary drawings, while coordinating with project managers and engineers on deliverables.

You should bring 8–15 years of experience, strong English communication, and a solid grasp of US surveying standards. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely delivery, and mentorship for junior staff.

Qualifications

• 3 Years Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 8 to 15 years of working experience with similar organization
• Very good knowledge in annotations, dimensioning, line types, layers & filtering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (latest versions) and Civil 3D
• Good English Communication
• Strong understanding of U.S. surveying standards and drafting practices
• Experience with California land surveying projects is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Survey drafting for boundary & topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys
• Develop As-Built surveys, records of surveys and parcel maps
• Prepare drawings with accurate bearings, distances, annotations and contours
• Process GNSS and Total Station data
• Work with drone survey data and orthomosaics is a plus
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers for drafting tasks
• Ensure technical accuracy and timely delivery of drawings
• Contribute to drafting standards and provide training to junior CAD staff
• Direct project support and produce drawings as required

Terracle Private Ltd has an immediate opening for a Senior Land Survey CAD Technician with strong technical abilities, proficient in using Civil3D and lead Land Survey work associated with site/Civil and Infrastructure projects in USA and UK.

Role & responsibilities

• Experienced in boundary & topographic survey drafting, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey.
• Experienced in developing As-Built surveys, record of surveys and parcel map drafting, Easement and Right-of-way exhibits.
• Highly skilled in property boundary bearings, distances, survey annotations, surface creation and contour generation. Import and processing of survey point files (PNEZD).
• Experience working with GNSS and Total Station survey data.
• Experience with drone survey data, orthomosaics and point clouds is a plus.
• Ability to understand deeds, plats, recorded maps and legal descriptions.
• Works under minimum supervision and will address all tasks assigned by the CAD manager.
• Will coordinate with Project managers and Engineers for drafting work in each project.
• Responsible for technical correctness (checking) and timely delivery of the drawings.
• Will assist the project team towards developing/implementing drafting standards.
• Provides training and technical support to Junior CAD staff relevant to project deliverables.
• Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3 Years Diploma in Civil Engineering Degree
• 8 to 15 years of working experience with similar organization, having considerable involvement in creating and customizing CAD tools to generate Land Survey documents in CAD using data obtained from field survey.
• Very good knowledge in annotations, dimensioning, line types, layers & filtering, blocks & attributes etc.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (latest versions & its tool sets) and Civil 3D
• Good English Communication
• Strong understanding of U.S. surveying standards and drafting practices.
• Experience with California land surveying projects is highly preferred
