Senior Business Systems Administrator – Specialty – Salesforce
Arctic Wolf is looking for a Senior Business Systems Administrator to work directly with key users of Salesforce to ensure maximum efficiency and leverage the full capabilities of the platform.
Responsibilities
- Work with Business Applications Leadership and internal stakeholders to identify system changes and partner on adoption and change management.
- Manage new releases of Salesforce and efficiently roll out new features while demonstrating a disciplined change control process.
- Configure and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, Flows, approval processes, installed packages, VisualForce pages, Apex code, and Lightning Components.
- Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad‑hoc reporting requests.
- Maintain system security and integrity; identify production risks and areas for improvement, prioritize and facilitate implementation of new processes.
- Understand all integrations that exist within the tool set and assess impact of changes, enhancements, and new functionality on the broader application ecosystem.
- Reference and update existing documentation regarding Salesforce support and enhancement management.
- Troubleshoot outages, produce root‑cause analysis reports, and communicate with leaders during emergency outage windows.
- Install new managed packages and tools within the Salesforce environment.
- Provide technical support and assistance to strengthen relationships between Business Applications and the internal user community.
Experience and Requirements
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to understand the organization’s business and its business‑tool ecosystem.
- Quickly acquire working knowledge of connected business tools (e.g., Gainsight, Marketo, Outreach).
- Manage individual work efforts as part of the Jira sprint/release process.
- Collaborative and consultative abilities to work with non‑technical end users.
- Aptitude for eliciting user requirements and developing both process and technical solutions.
- Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of Salesforce administration and/or development experience.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Advanced Administrator or Platform Developer I certification preferred.
- In‑depth knowledge of standard Salesforce capabilities.
- Experience with JavaScript, Apex, SOQL, and HTML.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑starter with strong written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of the Lead‑to‑Book sales lifecycle within a SaaS company.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and tracking.
- Minimum expectation of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
Physical Demands
Work is primarily sedentary, performed sitting or standing; requires use of a keyboard, verbal communication, and focus on device screens. Occasional small lifting (≤25 lbs) and travel may be required.
