Job summary

Carnera Technologies in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with 7+ years of experience to design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for finance and business operations.

You will consolidate data from multiple sources, define KPIs, automate recurring reports, and present insights that drive data‑driven decisions. Strong SQL, Snowflake and Sigma experience plus data modelling and visualization best practices are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, or related areas.
• Strong hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data visualisation, dashboard design, data modelling, and reporting best practices.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
• Partner with business and finance stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
• Collect, consolidate, and analyse data from multiple internal data sources.
• Develop meaningful KPIs, metrics, and visualisations that provide insights into business performance and trends.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline existing manual reporting processes.
• Enhance existing dashboards for improved usability, performance, and visualisation.
• Conduct root-cause and trend analysis and help stakeholders understand key drivers behind business performance.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests from multiple business teams.
• Create appropriate documentation for dashboards, data sources, business logic, and reporting processes.
• Work independently with stakeholders to manage priorities and deliver reporting solutions within agreed timelines.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Power BI / Business Intelligence Analyst to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting solutions. The role will work closely with business and finance stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, bring together data from multiple sources, and translate data into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, data visualisation, data modelling, and working with large datasets. Experience with SQL, Snowflake, and Sigma would be an added advantage.

• SQL for querying, transforming, and analysing data.
• Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms.
• Sigma Computing or similar cloud analytics/BI tools.
