Job summary

EPAM Systems in Chennai is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive regulatory reporting initiatives for global regimes. You will lead root cause analyses, design solutions, and oversee end-to-end delivery with stakeholders across operations, engineering, and governance teams.

The role requires 6-9 years of BA experience in regulatory reporting, BRD/FRD authoring, and strong stakeholder management, with English at least B2.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in business analysis and requirements gathering.
• Expertise in regulatory reporting across global regimes.
• Knowledge of CFTC, SEC or MiFID/MiFIR is preferred.
• Familiarity with SFTR, EMIR, MMSR in EMEA/APAC regions.
• Proficiency in OTC and ETD product knowledge.
• Strong stakeholder management and requirement translation.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2+) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Establish project governance and working groups as required.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend remediation solutions.
• Document solutions as BRDs/FRDs for client sign-off.
• Handover requirements to technology and operations teams.
• Create Solution Design docs with Ops/Engineering teams.
• Coordinate and execute UAT ahead of production releases.
• Provide weekly progress metrics and escalate RAIDs as needed.
• Communicate progress to OpCo and SteerCo; manage stakeholders.
