Sikich India seeks a Senior Business Analyst to develop, analyze, and document business, functional, and non‑functional requirements for both simple and complex initiatives. You will create customer‑focused documentation such as wireframes, use cases, and business rules, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements.

The role emphasizes SQL/data analysis, experience in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance, and proficiency with policy admin systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, CS, or related fields.
• 7+ years’ experience in business analysis or related field.
• Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance domain experience.
• ConceptOne and/or other MGA Policy Administrative systems experience.
• SQL queries and data analysis experience.
• Understanding or experience with Relational Databases.
• Strong AI acumen with the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with attention to detail.
• Effective time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Job description

The position of Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and documenting requirements, including business, functional and non-functional for simple and complex efforts. The Senior Business Analyst develops customer-focused documentation for software solutions (e.g., wireframes, use cases, business rules, etc.).

What do you need to succeed in this role?

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
• Seven (7) plus years’ experience in business analysis or related field
• Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance domain experience
• ConceptOne and/or other MGA Policy Administrative systems experience
• SQL queries and data analysis experience
• Understanding or experience with Relational Databases
• Demonstrates strong AI acumen, with the ability to effectively leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
