Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a senior SAP SD consultant to lead the SAP SD workstream for S/4HANA transformation projects including Greenfield, Brownfield, and landscape initiatives.

You will drive Fit-to-Standard workshops, redesign business processes to SAP Best Practices, and provide strategic guidance on O2C and SD capabilities while coordinating across MM, FI, CO, and other modules in a global delivery setup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years SAP SD experience across multiple full lifecycle transformations.
• Strong knowledge of ECC to S/4HANA SD differences and simplifications.
• Hands-on S/4HANA SD configuration and integration with MM, FI, CO, etc.
• Experience with Fiori apps for SD and BRF+ Output Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP SD workstream for S/4HANA transformation projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Landscape).
• Drive Fit-to-Standard workshops and business process redesign aligned to SAP Best Practices.
• Provide strategic guidance on S/4HANA SD capabilities including O2C.
• Collaborate with MM, FI, CO, EWM, TM, PP, and CRM teams for end-to-end integration.
• Lead data migration activities, unit testing, SIT, UAT, and cutover planning.
• Mentor SD consultants and ensure governance per SAP Activate methodology.

Job description

• Lead theSAP SD workstreamfor S/4HANA transformation projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Landscape Transformation).
• DriveFit-to-Standard (F2S)workshops and business process redesign aligned to SAP Best Practices.
• Providestrategic guidanceon S/4HANA SD capabilities including Order-to-Cash (O2C).

Solution Design & Configuration

• Design, configure, and validate SAP S/4HANA SD solutions including:
  • Sales Order Management
  • Pricing & Condition Techniques
  • Delivery, Shipping & Transportation
  • Billing & Invoicing
  • Credit Management (FSCM)
  • Output Management (BRF+)
• Ensure solution alignment withS/4HANA simplifications, embedded analytics, and Fiori apps.

Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate withMM, FI, CO, EWM, TM, PP, and CRMteams to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.
• SupportCVI, BP, and Master Data harmonizationactivities.
• Work closely with ABAP, CPI, and middleware teams for interface design and data migration validation.

Data Migration & Testing

• Lead and supportunit testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testingfor SD processes.
• Ensure defect resolution and solution stability.

Cutover & Go-Live Support

• Plan and execute SD cutover activities.
• Providehypercare and post-go-live support, ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Act as the SD escalation point during go-live.

Governance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure adherence toSAP Activate methodology, project standards, and documentation requirements.
• Review solution designs, functional specifications, and configuration deliverables.
• Mentor SD consultants and support knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience

Core SAP Expertise

• 10+ years ofSAP SD experience, with at least:
  • 2–3 full-cycleSAP S/4HANA transformation projects
• Strong knowledge ofSAP ECC to S/4HANA SD differences and simplifications
• Hands-on experience withS/4HANA SD configuration
• Experience with:
  • SAP Fiori apps for SD
  • Embedded Analytics
  • FSCM Credit Management
  • Output Management (BRF+)
• Understanding ofRICEFW impactin S/4HANA
• Knowledge on LeanIX, Signavio for process flow preparation and discussion with business team, is an added advantage.

Delivery & Leadership

• Proven experience leading SD teams in large transformation programs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work inglobal, multi-vendor delivery models

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA certification (SD or S/4HANA Sales)
• Experience inSAP Activate methodology
• Industry experience in Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Retail, or Automotive
• Exposure toSAP Central Finance, TM, or EWMis an advantage
