Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Pune, India seeks a Senior BFA, AVP to lead regulatory reporting initiatives for investment banking products. You will gather and analyze regulatory requirements, document BRD/FSDs, and engage with industry groups to stay aligned with evolving rules.

A strong focus on AI-enabled productivity and collaborating with Legal, Compliance and business stakeholders is required. You will mentor SMEs, work with development teams, and ensure architecture alignment across initiatives in

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Investment Banking domain
• 8+ years in regulatory reporting
• Strong knowledge of Dodd-Frank, MIFIR, CSDR, CASS, MSRB
• Understanding of OTC derivatives, loans, cash equities, bonds
• Experience with AI tools to enhance productivity in requirements gathering
• Proficiency with JIRA, JAMA, Confluence for documentation and tracking

Your key responsibilities

• Gathering requirements from regulatory specification documents, and reviewing with Legal, Compliance and business stakeholders


• Analyse the regulatory requirements, identify impacted systems in the bank, document BRD and FSDs, and review with stakeholders


• Engage in Industry Working Groups to seek updates from Trade Repositories, Industry Forums, and other peer banks on the upcoming and existing regulations

Your skills and experience

• Minimum 12 years of experience working in Investment Banking domain and at least 8 years working in regulatory reporting.


• Should have strong knowledge of critical regulations like Dodd Frank Act, MIFIR, CSDR, CASS, MSRB etc


• Understanding of Investment Banking products especially OTC Derivatives, other structured and unstructured products including Loans, Cash Equities, Bonds.


• Understanding of securities and derivatives trade lifecycle/payments is a plus


• Ability to leverage Generative AI tools to speed up the requirements gathering process


• Hands-on experience with requirements gathering and documentation tools like JIRA, JAMA, Confluence etc.


• Experience in Agile and Scrum delivery


• Strong demonstratable experience of working with the business and senior technology stakeholders


• Should be able to contribute towards good software design


• Strong communication with stakeholders


• Analyse software defects and fix them in timely manner


• Work closely with Development and Quality Assurance teams


• Degree in Finance, Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent computer degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent diploma/work experience)


• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
