Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Pune invites a Business Transformation Specialist, AVP to lead platform services squads for transformational programs. You will review requirements, guide product owners, and ensure timely delivery while aligning with CIO and business stakeholders.

Strong analysis, program management, and change-management skills are essential. You will mentor juniors, drive process improvements, and manage change artifacts across lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in product development, business analysis, process improvement, change management, or consulting roles within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for business solution design in complex project environments (e.g. transformational programs).
• Fundamental technical understanding of the feasibility of programs or projects.
• Competence in business analysis, program management, process improvement or transformation, and test management.
• Identifying the full range of business requirements and translating requirements into specific functional specifications for solution development and implementation.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate workshops, and communicate progress and challenges effectively.
• Conduct regular product/process updates.
• Act as a contact point between business departments and CIO area for own scope, coordinating alignment and ensuring traceability of requirements.
• Develop project/product and change artifacts during the change lifecycle, such as scope, business cases, communication, change‑management or training plans/materials, and oversee execution to ensure adoption and minimal disruption of business operations.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, providing constructive feedback and supporting their professional development within product/process contexts.

Role Description

The PODL is a role responsible for leading all squads of platform services. Each squad will implement all enhancements and production fixes for Finacle, Document management, IVR, Robotics, Debit card management and all such satellite applications. The PODL is also responsible for guiding other Product owners of the Platform Services Tribe in the review and analysis of requirements and functional specifications to ensure quality and timely delivery of all changes.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in product development, business analysis, process improvement, change management, or consulting roles within the financial services industry.
• Solid understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory environments (e.g., KYC, AML, MiFID II, Basel III).
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies; PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize tasks, and make data‑driven decisions.
• Business-fluent English (written and spoken).
• Business-fluent German (written and spoken) is a plus.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
