Role Description

The Senior Barista role is a full-time, on-site position based at GAG Coffee outlets in Ahmedabad. The Senior Barista is responsible for preparing and serving specialty coffee beverages to defined quality standards, managing espresso machines and brewing equipment, and ensuring consistent taste and presentation. This role includes guiding junior baristas, training new team members, and overseeing daily café operations such as inventory checks, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols. The Senior Barista engages with guests, provides attentive customer service, and helps maintain a welcoming, efficient environment. The role may also involve handling cash or digital payments, supporting promotional activities, and providing feedback to management on menu items and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong barista skills with hands-on experience in espresso-based beverages and specialty coffee preparation.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to create positive guest experiences.
• Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with guests and coordinating with team members.
