This role is for someone who loves building from scratch, thrives in ambiguity, and is willing to own work from concept to deployment. You will collaborate with the founding team and cross-functional colleagues to ship reliable backend services.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of backend development experience.
• Strong APIs, databases, and backend architecture fundamentals.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot or Node.js.
• Proficiency in SQL and basic data modeling.
• Familiarity with queues or background jobs is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a startup/faster-paced environment.

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer (3-5 years experience) to join our early-stage startup in Bangalore. You’ll work directly with the founding team to design, develop, and scale our core platform — blending technology, curiosity, and customer understanding.

This isn’t a typical corporate role — it’s for someone who loves building things from scratch, thrives in ambiguity, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty to understand how our customers actually work. You’ll be a thinker who asks why before what and how, and who takes ownership from concept to deployment.
