We are seeking a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. The role focuses on server-side programming, API development, microservices, database management, and cloud technologies. The engineer will collaborate with frontend developers, architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust enterprise applications.
The Backend Engineer will develop scalable backend services and applications using industry best practices, with a focus on reusable code, application performance, security, and reliability. The role includes designing and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs, implementing microservices architectures, and integrating third-party services and enterprise platforms.
The position also involves database design and optimization, including schemas, queries, stored procedures, views, and data access layers across relational and NoSQL databases. The engineer will work with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain applications across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
The role requires experience with containerization, CI/CD, production monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and secure coding practices to ensure highly available and reliable backend systems.
The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of backend engineering experience with strong expertise in Java, JavaScript, and Python. The candidate should be experienced in API development, microservices, databases, cloud deployment, and performance optimization, with the ability to collaborate effectively across development, architecture, DevOps, and business teams.
