Job summary

Curriculo, Inc. in Bengaluru/Bangalore is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to own scalable, reliable, high-performance backend systems. You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, and Frontend teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.

The role emphasizes API design, database work, performance tuning, and architecture ownership. You’ll mentor engineers, contribute to CI/CD practices, and help steer engineering direction while delivering end-to-end features.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, authentication, authorization, and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team and take ownership of building scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.

You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Frontend Engineering teams to turn product requirements into robust technical solutions. The role involves designing APIs, building backend services, working with databases, improving system performance, and contributing to technical architecture and engineering best practices.
