LDS Infotech is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer to design, implement, migrate, modernize, and manage Microsoft Azure environments. The role requires 4–7 years hands-on experience and close collaboration with customers and internal teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to standards, automation, and service improvements while ensuring secure, scalable, and well-governed Azure solutions across hybrid and cloud-only setups.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud engineering.
• Strong experience with Azure VMs, VNet, NSG, Load Balancers, Storage, Monitor, Backup and Site Recovery.
• Good understanding of Azure networking, hybrid connectivity and identity integration.
• Hands-on experience in cloud migration, modernization and infrastructure implementation.
• Strong Windows/Linux administration and networking troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Azure Landing Zones, Entra ID, AVD, governance and cost optimization (advantage).

About the Role:

LDS Infotech is looking for a Senior Azure Engineer with 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in designing, implementing, migrating, modernizing, and managing Microsoft Azure environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Azure infrastructure, networking, hybrid cloud, identity integration, security, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive cloud implementation projects.

The role will involve working closely with customers, internal technical teams, and project stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, scalable, and well‑governed Azure solutions. The candidate will also be expected to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards, automation, and service improvement initiatives.

Detailed Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

o Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure based on customer and business requirements.

oImplement and manage Azure Virtual Machines, storage, networking, security, monitoring, and backup services.

oDevelop secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient Azure infrastructure solutions.

oPerform infrastructure configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

oEnsure cloud environments follow established security and operational standards.

oLead or participate in Azure migration and modernization projects.

oAssess existing on‑premises infrastructure and recommend appropriate Azure migration strategies.

oPlan and execute workload migrations while minimizing business disruption.

oSupport modernization initiatives involving Azure‑native services and hybrid environments.

oTroubleshoot migration‑related infrastructure, connectivity, and performance issues.

oDesign and manage Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, NSGs, routing, Load Balancers, and related networking components.

oImplement and troubleshoot hybrid connectivity between on‑premises environments and Azure.

oWork with VPN and other hybrid connectivity technologies.

oDiagnose network connectivity, DNS, routing, firewall, and access‑related issues.

oApply network security and segmentation best practices.

Monitoring, Backup & Disaster Recovery

oConfigure and manage Azure Monitor and related monitoring and alerting solutions.

oDesign and support disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.

oConduct recovery testing and ensure appropriate RPO/RTO requirements are addressed.

oMonitor infrastructure health, capacity, availability, and performance.

Identity & Microsoft Ecosystem

oSupport identity integration between on‑premises environments and Microsoft cloud services.

oWork with Microsoft Entra ID fundamentals, authentication, access control, and identity‑related configurations.

oSupport Azure Virtual Desktop environments where required.

oContribute to Microsoft 365 and broader Microsoft ecosystem integrations.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

oDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code frameworks using Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent technologies.

oAutomate repetitive infrastructure deployment and operational activities.

oContribute to deployment templates, standards, and reusable implementation frameworks.

oSupport Azure DevOps and CI/CD initiatives where applicable.

Troubleshooting & Operations

oLead complex infrastructure troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

oIdentify recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions.

oParticipate in incident resolution, problem management, and operational improvement initiatives.

oMaintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.

oParticipate in customer workshops, technical discovery sessions, and solution discussions.

oUnderstand customer requirements and translate them into practical Azure solutions.

oCommunicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

oSupport pre‑sales and solution discussions when required.

Technical Leadership & Mentoring

oReview technical deliverables prepared by junior engineers.

oEnsure implementation quality and adherence to technical standards.

oMentor and guide junior cloud/infrastructure engineers.

oConduct knowledge‑sharing sessions and contribute to team capability development.

Preffered Certification:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate

Certifications are preferred but strong hands‑on project experience will also be considered.

Candidate Requirement:

• 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud engineering.
