We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud services, cloud-native architecture, infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, cloud security, and enterprise cloud modernization.

In this role, you will work closely with architects, DevOps engineers, software developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to build highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments. You will lead cloud migration initiatives, automate infrastructure deployments, optimize cloud performance, and implement governance and security best practices across enterprise Azure environments.

This opportunity offers hands‑on experience with modern Azure technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, cloud security, AI‑powered cloud operations, and large‑scale digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Cloud Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise‑grade cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure services.
• Build highly available, secure, and scalable cloud environments for business‑critical applications.
• Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, and Azure App Services.
• Implement Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerized application deployments.
• Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Cloud Migration & Modernization

• Lead cloud migration and application modernization initiatives from on‑premises environments to Azure.
• Assess existing infrastructure and develop cloud migration strategies.
• Support cloud‑native application architecture and modernization projects.
• Optimize workloads using Azure‑native services and best practices.
• Ensure minimal downtime during migration and deployment activities.

Infrastructure Automation

• Automate cloud provisioning and infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop reusable deployment templates and automation scripts.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure and application delivery.
• Standardize infrastructure deployment processes across environments.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation and self‑service capabilities.

Cloud Security & Governance

• Implement Azure security best practices to protect enterprise cloud environments.
• Configure identity and access management using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
• Apply governance policies, resource tagging, compliance controls, and security baselines.
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.

Monitoring & Performance Optimization

• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and diagnostics for Azure resources.
• Analyze cloud performance metrics and optimize infrastructure utilization.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application issues.
• Implement proactive monitoring and incident response processes.
• Continuously improve operational reliability and cloud performance.

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Collaborate with DevOps, Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver cloud solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions.
