Job summary

HCLTech in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Automotive HIL Tester to ensure quality and functionality of automotive software solutions. You will validate embedded systems using Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and drive test planning aligned with client requirements and industry standards.

You will develop test plans, review test cases, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Strong MATLAB/Simulink expertise and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop testing for automotive embedded systems.
• Develop and review test plans and cases for HIL environments.
• Analyze defect metrics and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and review test cases based on functional specifications and software requirements, ensuring coverage in HIL testing.
• Execute functionality testing according to the test plan and test cases, applying knowledge of embedded systems.
• Contribute to development of test plans tailored to assigned projects and testing practices.
• Track test coverage, defect density and metrics using tools like MATLAB/Simulink and publish progress reports to stakeholders.

As a Senior Automotive HIL Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of automotive software solutions.
