Persistent Systems Limited seeks a Senior Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for enterprise apps in regulated environments. You will lead automation framework design, API/UI/end-to-end testing, and continuous testing across CI/CD pipelines.

The role focuses on compliance-focused validation, audit trails, and collaboration with Product, Development, and Quality teams to drive quality and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in Test Automation, QA, and Quality Engineering.
• Strong Selenium, Playwright, Cypress expertise and framework design.
• Hands-on API automation using Postman, Rest Assured, Karate.
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end automation suites.
• Proficient in STLC and QA best practices; risk-based testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of SQL, data validation, and test data management.
• Familiarity with CSV/CSA/GxP compliance and 21 CFR 11 basics.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for enterprise applications within regulated environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in automation framework development, API testing, continuous testing, quality engineering, and compliance-focused validation practices. What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for enterprise applications.
• Automate business-critical workflows and validation processes to improve quality and delivery efficiency.
• Develop and execute automated API, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 8?12 years of experience in Test Automation, QA Automation, and Quality Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and automation framework design.
• Hands‑on experience in API automation using Postman, Rest Assured, and Karate Framework.
• Experience developing and maintaining functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end automation suites.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and automation testing best practices.
• Experience implementing risk‑based testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database validation, and test data management practices.
• Experience integrating automated testing into DevOps and continuous delivery environments.
• Understanding of validation and compliance processes within regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Computer System Validation (CSV), Computer Software Assurance (CSA), and GxP environments.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 requirements, audit trails, electronic signatures, and compliance controls.
• Experience with continuous testing, quality gates, and release validation practices.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized testing environments.
• Understanding of performance testing concepts, load testing methodologies, and BDD frameworks.
• Strong analytical, debugging, defect triage, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation excellence within teams.
