Job summary

VIATRIS in Jigani, Karnataka, is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to manage high voltage electrical distribution, utilities and general building upkeep. You will oversee SOP adherence, risk management, audits under GMP/GDP/QMS, and lead a team of technicians and contractors in safe electrical and utility interventions.

The role covers operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of HT/LT panels, boilers, chillers, UPS systems, water treatment and other power plant infrastructure,

Qualifications

• Experience in operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical distribution and power plant utilities.
• Ability to oversee SOP adherence and audit readiness in GMP/GDP/QMS environments.
• Leadership of technicians and contract staff for safe electrical and utility interventions.

Responsibilities

• SOP Adherence: Oversee daily plant operations following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Risk Management: Mitigate operational risks to prevent downtime.
• Audit Compliance: Maintain logs and support internal/external audits under GMP, GDP, and QMS frameworks.
• Team Leadership: Guide technicians and contract staff for safe electrical and utility interventions.

Job description

Technical Skill Sets 1. High Voltage & Electrical Distribution (Main Panel Room)

• Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HT and LT Panels.
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance of Transformers and DG sets.
• Management and uptime optimization of heavy-duty industrial UPS systems.

2. Black Utilities & Power Plant Infrastructure

• Daily operations and maintenance of industrial Boilers and Chiller units.
• Routine servicing of Cooling Towers, Air Compressors, and Nitrogen Plants.
• Supervision of Water Treatment Plants (PTP) and internal Power Plant operations.

3. General & Building Maintenance

• Facility management including structural, building, and civil upkeep.
• Execution of routine civil and electrical general maintenance schedules.
