Job summary

OCS Group seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician in Pune to monitor and maintain critical electrical systems, including HT/LT panels, transformers, UPS, DG sets, and DC systems. You will ensure 24x7 availability, perform fault diagnosis, and coordinate with vendors for repairs.

The role requires reading SLDs, adherence to safety standards, and proficiency with BMS/SCADA/DCIM platforms, with a focus on reliability and energy optimization.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems.
• Experience with UPS, DG, Transformer, and HT/LT equipment.
• Understanding of electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams (SLD) and electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with BMS, SCADA, or DCIM platforms.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical electrical systems including HT/LT panels, transformers, UPS, DG sets, PDU, batteries and DC systems, switchgear and breakers.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure 24x7 availability and reliability of power systems.
• Perform electrical fault diagnosis and root cause analysis.
• Monitor electrical parameters through BMS/DCIM systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for servicing and emergency repairs.
• Follow safety procedures, LOTO, and electrical compliance standards.
• Prepare maintenance reports and shift handover documentation.
• Support energy efficiency and power optimization initiatives.
• Participate in emergency response and disaster recovery activities.
