Job summary

Growth For Impact in India is seeking an Operations Specialist to oversee day-to-day HES and MDM activities, focusing on meter communication, data availability, billing readiness, remote operations, and SLA adherence.

You will manage end-to-end onboarding of smart meters, validate communications and configurations, monitor data integrity, coordinate with network teams for outages, and prepare SLA reports to ensure reliable service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable, compliant day-to-day HES & MDM operations.
• Focus on meter communication, data availability, billing readiness, remote operations, and SLA adherence.
• Maintain data integrity and timely operational reporting.
• Onboard smart meters in HES and MDM from registration to data flow, including validation and configuration checks.
• Categorize meters and ensure successful data flow between HES and MDM.
• Continuously monitor meter communication, data availability, scheduled jobs, interfaces, and critical services to meet SLAs.
• Manage SIMs, network issues, connectivity failures, and non-communicating meters; coordinate resolutions with relevant teams.
• Compile and analyze operational data for SLA measurement and prepare supporting reports.
• Verify SAT/UAT-related meter and transaction data across HES and MDM; identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections; prepare exception reports.

Job description

ROLE

• Ensure stable and compliant day-to-day HES & MDM operations, focusing on meter communication, data availability, billing readiness, remote operations, SLA adherence, data integrity, issue resolution, and timely operational reporting.
• End-to-end onboarding of smart meters in HES and MDM, including meter registration, communication validation, parameter/configuration checks, meter categorization, and ensuring successful data flow between HES and MDM.
• Continuously monitor HES/MDM operations to ensure meter communication, data availability, scheduled jobs, interfaces, and critical services meet operational requirements and SLAs.
• Manage communication-related issues with SIMs, Network Service Providers, network connectivity, signal/communication failures, and non-communicating meters; coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Compile and analyze operational data for SLA measurement, validate SLA calculations, and prepare/submit supporting reports.
• Verify SAT/UAT-related meter and transaction data across HES and MDM, identify discrepancies, coordinate with technical teams for corrections, and prepare exception
