Job Title: Senior Associate - Illustrator &Educational Visual Designer
Location: Pune
Travel: As per the project need
Position Overview:
Toturn concepts, processes and practical knowledge into clear, accurate andreusable educational visuals for students, teachers and trainers.
Thisrole combines illustration with instructional visual communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create illustrationsfor student resources, teacher guides, training materials and digitalcontent.
- Develop step-by-stepvisuals for practical activities, processes, tools and equipment.
- Create diagrams,process maps, infographics, icons and instructional graphics.
- Develop safety visualsand correct/incorrect practice illustrations.
- Work with writers andinstructional designers to understand the learning purpose of eachvisual.
- Work with technicalexperts to ensure processes, tools and practices are accuratelyrepresented.
- Develop editable visualassets that can be adapted across states and languages.
- Design visuals suitablefor print, mobile, LMS, presentations and video.
- Represent students,teachers, practitioners and different forms of work respectfully andwithout stereotypes.
- Maintain reusablevisual libraries, source files and consistency across resource families.
- Revise visuals based ontechnical review and user feedback.

Requirements
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Animation or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in illustration, educational visual design, graphic design or a related field.
- Certification/coursework in Illustration, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Animation or Digital Design would be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in educational publishing, learning resources or instructional design would be preferred.
- Strong illustration andvisual-communication skills.
- Ability to explainprocesses and concepts visually—not only create decorative illustrations.
- Good understanding ofinformation hierarchy and instructional graphics.
- Ability to illustratetools, actions and practical sequences accurately.
- Proficiency withrelevant professional illustration/design tools.
- Comfortable workingclosely with writers, instructional designers and technical experts.
- Experience witheducational publishing, children's learning resources or instructionaldesign would be an advantage.
Portfolioshould preferably include examples of instructional illustrations,step-by-step processes, diagrams or educational information graphics, inaddition to general illustration work.
- Strong illustration and visualcommunication skills
- Ability to create instructionalvisuals, diagrams, infographics and step-by-step illustrations
- Strong understanding ofinformation hierarchy and educational visual design
- Proficiency in professionaldesign and illustration tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Ability to accurately represent tools, processes, practical activities and safety practices.
