  • Understanding of NEP 2020, Skill Education, vocational education, or school education systems preferred.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with SCERT officials and government stakeholders to support Skill Education initiatives.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders involved in Skill Education implementation.
  • Support development and execution of a roadmap for Skill Education in Bihar.
  • Understand school Skill Education ecosystems, processes, challenges and opportunities.
  • Assist in program planning, implementation, monitoring and documentation.
  • Coordinate with LAHI teams to bring technical expertise and resources.
  • Compile, analyse and present program data; prepare reports and trackers.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and proactiveOfficer/Associate to join the PMU team at SCERT, Bihar. The role willinvolve working closely with SCERT officials, government stakeholders,schools, teachers, internal LAHI teams, and other partners to support theeffective implementation and strengthening of Skill Education in Bihar.

The candidate will contribute to understanding theexisting Skill Education ecosystem, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, supportingimplementation activities, tracking progress, identifying challenges, andcontributing to the development of a roadmap for strengthening SkillEducation in Bihar .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with SCERT officials and other government stakeholdersto support Skill Education initiatives.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders involved in Skill Educationimplementation.
  • Support the development and implementation of a roadmap for SkillEducation in Bihar.
  • Understand existing systems, processes, challenges, andopportunities within the school Skill Education ecosystem.
  • Support program planning, implementation, monitoring, anddocumentation.
  • Coordinate with internal LAHI teams to bring relevant technicalexpertise and resources to the Bihar program.
  • Collect, compile, and analyse program-related information and data.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, trackers, meeting notes, and otherproject documentation.
  • Participate in meetings with government officials and otherstakeholders and ensure timely follow-up on agreed actions.
  • Identify implementation challenges and work with relevant teams todevelop practical solutions.
  • Support field visits, school visits, workshops, meetings, and otherprogram activities as required.
  • Track key milestones and ensure timely completion of assignedactivities.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities related to the PMU asrequired.

Requirements
Experience& Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree inEducation, Social Sciences, Development Studies,Management, Public Policy or a related field.
  • Master's degree will be an added advantage.
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience ineducation, skill development, development sector, government projects, orprogram implementation.
  • Experience working with government departments, schools, NGOs oreducation programs will be an advantage.
  • Understanding of NEP 2020, Skill Education, vocationaleducation, or school education systems will be preferred.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple and complexstakeholders.
  • Understanding of the school-based Skill Education ecosystem.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
