Job summary

Trimont is seeking a Senior Associate Data and Analytics to join the People & Culture team based in India. You will transform HR data into insightful dashboards and models, supporting workforce planning, attrition, compensation, and organizational effectiveness across global stakeholders.

You will ensure data integrity across HR systems, drive analytics projects, and Partner with HRBPs and Finance to influence strategic decisions. Strong analytics and GDPR/CCPA knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in People Analytics, HR Analytics, or Cognos Business Intelligence Analytics
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (UKG/Kronos experience strongly preferred)
  • IBM Cognos Reporting experience, particularly developing complex reports within UKG
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
  • Strong SQL and/or database query skills; ability to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources
  • Understanding of HR processes, metrics, and terminology (recruitment, compensation, benefits, payroll)
  • Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional process orientation, organizational and documentation skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex data concepts succinctly
  • Strong commitment to data confidentiality and privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA, and relevant data protection regulations)
  • Ability to work collaboratively across geographies and time zones with strong partnership mindset

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end people analytics projects aligned to business priorities
  • Translate business and HR questions into analytical problem statements
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership for decision-making
  • Ensure HR data quality in UKG (Kronos) and other HR systems, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies
  • Develop and implement data cleaning protocols to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Serve as the data owner for HR information, ensuring governance standards and confidentiality protocols are maintained
  • Perform regular data audits and quality assessments, documenting findings and recommending improvements
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports that track KPIs for leadership consumption
  • Extract, analyze, and visualize HR metrics including demographics, recruitment, retention, headcount, compensation, and employee engagement data
  • Create and maintain advanced reports involving BI expressions and complex logic
  • Develop predictive analytics to support future-focused decision-making; enable self-service analytics where feasible
  • Present complex data in a simple, compelling, and decision-oriented manner
  • Partner closely with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, Finance, and Employee Relations teams
  • Act as a thought partner to leaders by asking the right questions through data
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across regions to ensure consistent data standards and reporting
  • Provide training and support to HR teams on data entry standards, system usage, and report interpretation
  • Support leadership reviews and transformation initiatives with data and insights
  • Support strategic HR initiatives through deep-dive analytics (e.g., attrition drivers, hiring efficiency, cost optimization, DEI metrics)
  • Build hypotheses, run analyses, and present insights with clear recommendations
  • Support scenario modeling and what-if analyses for workforce planning

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Associate Data and Analytics to join our People & Culture (P&C) team. This role is critical to our mission of maintaining data integrity across HR systems while leveraging data-driven insights to support strategic workforce decisions. The successful candidate will transform people data into meaningful analysis, dashboards, and actionable insights that support strategic initiatives such as workforce planning, attrition, compensation, and organizational effectiveness. Based in India, this role operates globally, serving as a trusted partner to HR stakeholders and business leaders across our international organization.

Key Responsibilities

People Analytics & Decision Support

  • Lead end-to-end people analytics projects aligned to business priorities
