Job summary

Valuemomentum seeks a Dynamics 365 CE developer to extend the platform using C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Power Platform tools. You will own technical designs for plugins, integrations, and custom UI components and participate in ALM/DevOps for Dataverse deployments.

Responsibilities include building plugins and PCF controls, REST/OData integrations, data migration, and ensuring platform performance. Strong Dataverse SDK and Azure services experience is required.

Qualifications

Job description

1. Role Summary

Builds and extends Dynamics 365 CE solutions using tools (C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Power Platform SDK) where low code/config alone can't meet the requirement.

Owns technical design for plugins, integrations, and custom UI components; participates in ALM/DevOps for the platform.

2. Core Responsibilities

A. Extend the Platform

Develop plugins, custom workflow activities, and custom APIs (C#, Dataverse SDK)

• Build client-side scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript) for forms, ribbons, business rules beyond OOB capability
• Develop PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) controls for custom UX

B. Integrate

• Build integrations via Web API (REST/OData), Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Service Bus
• Handle data migration/sync (SSIS + Kingswaysoft, or Azure Data Factory)
• Design authentication patterns (OAuth, service principals) for external system connections

C. Application Lifecycle Management

• Manage solutions, source control (Azure DevOps/GitHub), and CI/CD pipelines for Dataverse deployments
• Environment strategy (dev/test/UAT/prod), managed vs. unmanaged solutions
• Performance troubleshooting (plugin trace logs, throttling, query optimization)

3. Required Technical Skills (must-have)
