Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking a Senior Associate to lead the full lifecycle recruitment process for executive and professional roles within the Consumer sector. You will identify talent, conduct interviews, prepare shortlists, and present outcomes to clients while managing ongoing communications and logistics.

This role requires strong market research and relationship-building with clients and candidates. Exposure to consumer products, retail, e-commerce, and related markets is highly preferred.

Working alongside Managing Consultants and the Sector Leader, the Senior Associate plays a key role in executing all aspects of the search delivery process with the highest quality and within the required timescales. The Senior Associate will take responsibility for the full search delivery cycle, from initial candidate identification through to candidate interviews and ultimately of the shortlist presentation to the client.This role supports executive and professional search work across the Consumer sector, and exposure to consumer-focused industries and markets is highly preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and conduct initial research into target organizations and industry sectors to assist in identifying top talent for our clients’ mid to senior level roles.
• Identify the best talent by sourcing and mapping relevant markets, while ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Approach suitable candidates and qualify them against agreed competencies and criteria for each project. This includes target list creation, sourcing strategy design and long-list creation.
• Conduct candidate interviews, write interview reports and present shortlists to clients.
• Provide weekly/bi-weekly client update reports as necessary and maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates and clients throughout the assignment.
• Handle the required logistics for interviews, take and provide feedback on candidate interviews, situational changes, present offers and manage negotiation. Follow-up with candidate during notice period and ensure smooth transition to start date.
• Through the management of KPI’s, improve and maintain e.g. productivity, quality of candidates presented and time to shortlist/hire.
• Build relationships within the industry to develop the wider network, capture and maintain accurate market, client and candidate information.
• Manage & develop shortlisted candidates and ensure that the referral/network is world class and helpful.
• Contribute towards process, career development and training initiatives.
• Conduct weekly searches to stay up to date with the Industrial industry trends and developments and identify future relevant talent within the Industrial industry and build relationships with high potentials.
• Work with Managing Consultants and Sector Leader to ensure that information is shared, e.g. industry news, competitor searches, market intelligence.
• Build effective relationships within the business and demonstrate positive and proactive communication with colleagues, to include generosity of knowledge and experience sharing.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Significant experience in a consulting or commercial environment with good knowledge of and network in the vertical
• Demonstrable experience as a full life-cycle recruiter for retained search with experience including cold calling, developing search strategies and client/candidate management.
• Experience recruiting within or supporting the Consumer sector is preferred, including exposure to consumer products, retail, e-commerce, apparel, luxury, food and beverage, hospitality, or related markets.
• Consultative mindset and ability to anticipate clients' needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly learn about different business environments and cultures and propose relevant solutions.
• Ability to adapt to new processes and effectively deal with change and ambiguity.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Salary Range $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
