Job summary

Logic Planet is seeking a senior SAP Archiving/ILM expert to lead end-to-end archiving implementations in ECC/S/4 environments. The role requires deep knowledge of ILM retention, system decommissioning, and integration with multiple SAP modules, with responsibilities spanning from requirements gathering to deployment and testing.

The ideal candidate will have 8-15+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in managing ILM strategies and archival data

Qualifications

• 8-15+ years of experience in SAP Archiving/ILM implementation, deployment or support.
• Experience in SAP ILM retention management and system decommissioning.
• End-to-end SAP Archiving projects in ECC/S/4 preferred.
• Techno-functional archiving skills and requirements gathering.

Responsibilities

• Lead archiving projects across SAP modules including PTP, OTC, FICO.
• Define archiving strategy, rules, and policies in ILM.
• Coordinate with functional and client stakeholders.
• Support deployment, cutover activities, and testing.
• Handle PBS add-on and PBS configuration.

Role & responsibilities

Must have minimum 8-15+ years of relevant experience with good analytical skill having experience in SAP Archiving/ILM Implementation, Deployment or Support projects.

Should have worked in at least couple of end-to-end SAP Archiving implementation projects preferably in SAP ECC/ S/4 System(s) having in-depth knowledge in below mentioned areas:

• SAP ILM retention management experience
• SAP ILM system decommissioning experience
• Experience in achieving implementation in various environments like ECC, S/4, CRM, SRM & HR etc. systems.
• Experience in PTP, OTC, FICO etc. cycle archiving of the transaction data and all other modules. Understanding the business flow of the same.
• Archiving in ECC system as part of system migration or conversion.
• Should pose Techno-functional archiving skills.
• Handling business and experience on requirements gathering process.
• Experience in the reporting tool for the effective retrieval of archived data.
• Expert in handling unstructured data solutions.
• Hands on experience on archiving testing process.
• Experience and involvement in deployment and cutover activities.
• Handling team and coordination with functional and client stakeholders.
• Creation of Rules & Policies through ILM and Defining the Archiving strategy along with the execution and monitoring of the Archival jobs.
• Knowledge in the ILM scenario like ILM Snapshot, Conversion, GDPR implementation, Retention Management & Retention Warehouse.
• Knowledge in the Audit area for the custom specific requirement.
• Knowledge in the Handling of Policies in ILM for the object specific requirement like Company Code, Sales Organization & Plant level.
• Knowledge in the Blocking and the retrieval of the archived data through PBS & AIS.
• Experience of handling PBS add-on, PBS server and PBS configuration
• Experience of working with AWS S3 or Azure Blob ILM store
• Knowledge on working with content/archive servers like OpenText, IBM, KGS etc will be good to have skill.
• Experience of archiving assessments and solutions including third party solutions in the market
• ILM system decommissioning experience
