Job summary

Infosys invites experienced professionals to join our archiving practice, focusing on archiving objects across FI, MM, SD, PP and CO modules for retail and manufacturing contexts. You will contribute to design, configuration, and deployment, while guiding smaller projects and client engagements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop proposals, and present innovative solutions aligned with customer budgets and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in archiving objects across multiple modules and industries.
• Strong knowledge of FI, MM, SD, PP, CO modules and related archiving considerations.
• Ability to configure archiving objects and create custom archiving objects.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose customer issues and design solutions within archiving domains.
• Contribute to proposal and solution design based on area of expertise.
• Plan configuration activities, configure products per design, and support demos/POCs.
• Lead small projects and contribute to organizational initiatives with high-value solutions.
• Assess current processes and suggest technology solutions for improvement.

Archiving Responsibilities

• Expertise in archiving objects in various industrial solutions.
• Expertise in various modules like FI, MM & SD for the retail scope of industry and PP, CO in case of manufacturing industry.
• Performing the necessary functional configuration of archiving objects belonging to various modules.
• Knowledge in the creation of custom archiving objects for custom tables.
• Providing new logic for the sequence of operations for system specific archiving and business flow.
• Knowledge in DART extraction and creation of views for the same.
• Knowledge in various retrieval tools like AIS and PBS.
• Knowledge in document archiving and Document Management System.

A Day in the Life

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design.
• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines.
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
• Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability.
• Good knowledge of software configuration management systems.
• Awareness of latest technologies and industry trends.
• Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate.
• Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available.
• Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions.
• One or two industry domain knowledge.
