Algoworks is seeking a Senior Associate - Business Analyst to serve as central intake and coordination for enhancement requests, ensuring alignment with Agile processes and stakeholder expectations. The role focuses on backlog grooming, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration with Product and Salesforce teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Agile BA roles, CSM certification, and strong Jira/Confluence experience. HubSpot and Agentforce knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience facilitating sprint planning and backlog management.
• Strong stakeholder communication and expectation management.

Responsibilities

• Manage enhancement request intake, review, prioritization and backlog grooming.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily Agile ceremonies and ensure work aligns with team capacity.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners and stakeholders to define, refine and prioritize requirements.
• Track sprint progress, communicate delivery timelines and ensure smooth execution using Jira and Confluence.
• Review and filter incoming requests to ensure only approved and well-defined items enter the backlog.

Role overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst with Scrum Master experience to act as the central intake and coordination point for all enhancement requests, ensuring they are reviewed, approved, prioritization and assigned effectively. This role oversees sprint planning, aligns work with team capacity and provides clear communication on timelines and delivery status to internal teams and stakeholders. It combines business analysis leadership with Agile/Scrum facilitation to drive efficient, consistent delivery.

This role will work closely with the other Business Analysts, to ensure their backlog is manageable and act as a first reviewer to eliminate unapproved requests from the backlog.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage enhancement request intake, review, prioritization and backlog grooming.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily Agile ceremonies and ensure work aligns with team capacity.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners and stakeholders to define, refine and prioritize requirements.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
• Experience facilitating sprint planning and backlog management
• Strong stakeholder communication and expectation management
• Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence is ideal
• 3+ years of Salesforce experience
• Agentforce knowledge can be added advantage
• Understanding of Salesforce Ecosystem
• If we can find canddiate with Hub spot knoweldge then it will be great.

Must have skills:

• Strong experience in sprint planning, backlog management and Agile ceremonies.

Good to have skills:

• Knowledge of Agentforce.
• Experience with HubSpot CRM.
• Exposure to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce products.
• Familiarity with Agile metrics, reporting and release planning.
