Job summary

A global leader in precision instruments is seeking a Cash Application Specialist in Mumbai. The role involves managing payment applications for EU/UK regions, ensuring quality benchmarks, and collaborating with various teams. Qualifications

• Prior experience in accounting, preferably in cash application for the EU/UK region.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage credit card and ACH payments from customers in SAP.
• Meeting productivity and quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve pending cases.
• Support automation projects with data and test cases.
• Improve the overall cash application process.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve pending cases.
• Participate in monthly reviews with internal/external stakeholders in the absence of the team leader.
• Manage mailbox and distribute information efficiently.
• Create daily/weekly/monthly reports for management and monthly MIS.
• Provide month-end support for smooth ledger closure.
• Perform netting, refunds, GL clearing and related activities while adhering to KPIs.
• Support automation projects with data and test cases.
• Back up for critical resources during unplanned absences.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.

Job description

• Application of credit card, check, wire, ACH, direct debit payments from customers in SAP for UK/EU regions from shared services center in India
• Meeting defined productivity and quality benchmarks
• Ensuring regular communication with Business Unit personnel to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Ensuring operational performance through Team Presentations, Process Quality Initiatives, etc.
• Improve the overall cash application process
• Coordinating with stakeholders to bring resolution on pending cases
• Participating in monthly reviews with internal/external stakeholders in absence of team leader
• Mailbox management
• Creation of daily/weekly/monthly reports for management
• Creation of monthly MIS and daily quality check for EU/UK/AuNZ regiosn
• Provide month-end support to ensure smooth month-end ledger closure
• Performing netting, refunds, GL clearing and other relevant activities while adhering to KPIs
• Supporting in automation projects with data, test cases etc.
• Supporting as backup for critical resources in cases of unplanned absence
• Providing guidance to junior team members
